¶General Instructions
You can access BioSpring in several ways, each suited to different levels of expertise:
- MolPlay Environment: A complete, bootable solution with BioSpring pre-installed, along with extensive guides, videos, and tutorials. This is the most user-friendly option, ideal for those who prefer a straightforward setup.
- Docker Container: Our Docker container includes BioSpring and all necessary dependencies, making it easy to deploy across various platforms with minimal setup.
- Source Code: For maximum flexibility, you can download the source code and follow the compilation instructions. This path is ideal for advanced users who want full control over the installation.
Note that you need a visualization software that understands the IMD protocol for interactive simulations to control and connect to BioSpring. UnityMol or VMD are suitable options. UnityMol comes installed ready to use with MolPlay.
